The phone call I mentioned earlier should be from someone you care about and not someone trying to sell you something

I hope that you always have enough money for your basic necessities like food and clothing

And time at end of day to contemplate
I hope that you have some time at the end of each day to reflect on your life and your decisions

Some days I wish your 'No' had been a 'Yes'
Sometimes I wish that you had said yes instead of no, especially when it could have made a difference in our lives

And often wish for more, and then for less
I tend to be indecisive and vacillate between wanting more and wanting less

I wish we occupied a better place
I hope that we can live in a better, more peaceful world

I hope that there is no room for war or violence in this better world we wish to live in

I wish you jobs well done and comfy shoes
I hope you find work that is meaningful and fulfilling, and that your feet are always comfortable and happy

With music and whatever else you choose
I hope you have the freedom to pursue your passions and interests, including music (or anything else you may like)

And kindnesses and moments which amaze
I hope you experience beautiful moments of kindness and wonder that take your breath away

To cruise you down the distance of your days

I hope you have the drive and determination to achieve everything you aspire to in life

And strength when guilt cuts deep as any knife

I hope that you travel to faraway places and return safely, enriched by your experiences

However, I'd be satisfied with this
