Here Comes Santa Claus
Alvin & The Chip Munks Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

Here comes Santa Claus!
Here comes Santa Claus!
Right down Santa Claus Lane!
Vixen and Blitzen and all his reindeer
Are pulling on the reins
(Bells are ringing, children singing)
(All is merry and bright
(So hang your stockings and say your prayers)
('Cause Santa Claus comes tonight)

Here comes Santa Claus!
Here comes Santa Claus!
Right down Santa Claus Lane!
He's got a bag that's filled with toys
For the boys and girls again
(Hear those sleigh bells jingle jangle)
(Oh, What a beautiful sight)
(So jump in bed, cover up your head)
('Cause Santa Claus comes tonight)

Here comes Santa Claus!
Here comes Santa Claus!
Right down Santa Claus Lane!
He'll come around
When chimes ring out
It's Christmas time again
(Peace on Earth will come to all)
(If we just follow the light)
(So let's give thanks to the Lord above)
('Cause Santa Claus comes tonight)

(Let's give thanks to the Lord above)
'Cause Santa Claus comes tonight

I really enjoy listening to these songs.

The beginning sounds like a scene from Family Guy

LOL Weee! I forgot my video speed settings were left on 1.75 after listening to chipmunks on 16 speed! XD
(To those who don't know, the voice actors had to be recorded talking and singing slowly and clearly before their voices were made high pitched, of which could only be done by speeding up their voices at the time, thus the need to go slow. Since the music also had to be slowed down, it sounds incredibly dark, creepy, or depressing, and of course... slow. People actually make music like that, so the original recordings are labelled as sludge pop music. I personally can listen to it at any speed, but wanted to hear it at normal song speed, thus how I ended up forgetting to change it back to Normal speed.)
