Using Myspace as his first self-promotional tool, AM Kidd kept his name buzzing by giving all of his listeners what they want: access to his new music. Over the past two years, AM has been focused in the lab, (his debut isn't called Sweat Shop for nothing!) fine tuning his own sound, making sure each new song displays growth and diversity throughout all of his self-produced material. Since his www.myspace.com/amkidd page was started in February of 2005, he boasts nearly 2,000,000 Myspace plays before his debut album even hit stores (June '07). AM has given his audience the chance to listen to nearly the entire album, even allowing the downloads of certain songs that fans have been itching to pass around like the smoothed out remix to "Stunna Girl." While many artists don't pass their music around for free, AM understands that his audience is continuously growing from word of mouth, and allowing his listeners to share his music makes him more accessible.
AM Kidd hopes to work with those who have the same passion and drive for the music as he does, because when artists are on the same page, it creates new ideas that otherwise wouldn't come about without collaboration. AM wants to help others reach the same goals as he did because before AM Kidd was born no one was really behind his music so he wants to give them the support to turn into something great.
