Harvey, Goldfrapp og Eels) who tailored his producer magic to the unique sounds of Amber. ”One Minute Love Affair” builds on the foundation laid on the highly critically acclaimed debut from 2004, but at the same time explores new sides of Amber’s minimalist soundscape.

With Parish behind the mixer, Amber’s songs gain a new edge, while still maintaining the intimacy that has become the bands trademark, within a full, vibrating and yet simple universe. Remaining true to the original outset, Amber playfully incorporates elements of alternative disco and funk into their already unusual take on Alternative Rock. The result is shorter yet more quirky songs still featuring Amber’s characteristic instrumentation (Bass, Vibraphone, Drums and Vocals).

“One Minute Love Affair” also features a guest appearance by Scottish singer Aidan Moffat from Arab Strap. The result is a killer duet on the title track between him and Amber vocalist, Biljana Stojkoska.

A 10" collects the only extant studio tapes of the band, recorded in the early 70s during a period that saw the band playing regularly around London. The strapline on the sleeve reads "acoustic music that derives from folk and blues with a touch of psychedelia" which is true as far as it goes but gives too much significance to the blues, not enough to the occasional immensity of McAllister's vocal and none at all to the importance of the sitar in the mix. The lilting glory of "Sea Shell Rock Me" (appearing in two versions) is the highlight. The song is basically a folk love song which coils in around itself in time to a beautiful winding sitar line and reminds of all the possibilities music seemed to offer 30 years ago.

Amber Heard is a perfect example of why the majority of men don’t speak up about abuse. They think that they won’t be believed or heard. Unfortunately in a domestic assault the accuse the guys first and arrest then ask questions later.

Every film franchise was quick to throw Johnny under the bus and "cancel" him while Amber's life was still basically catered to so MY hope when this case is over is that Johnny gets apologies from the industry and more work opportunities because fellow actors have been on his side and have been openly doubting Amber for YEARS but they were so worried about losing money, they dumped fuel on the fire by getting rid of Johnny before he even had a chance to actually take this up in court. I did not follow up the whole story but they definitely did accuse Johnny of physical abuse and then turned it to verbal abuse and once again say that it does not matter and that the article was not posted by Amber so she is "not guilty". She is counter suing, which means that its a lot longer than a normal defamation trial. Its certain johnny isn't going to lose, but I'm not so sure he's going to 'win' per se. Defamation cases are notoriously hard to win, but he has definitely cleared his name.

She's claimed roughly 15 instances of abuse, she was married to johnny for 15 months. She's saying there was a serious instance of abuse once per month (lets say once every 2 months to include the year or so they were together before they got married even though there were only 1-2 before the marriage according to amber). Serious bruising takes up to 2 weeks to go away. Amber should of been walking around with SERIOUS bruising 25% of the time if we go with the most generous estimations, and closer to FIFTY PERCENT of the time if you attribute most of the abuse to just the time they were married as Amber states!!! Yet no one has seen anything?

@Jewel Dahlgren she does big time,play games...she accused him of "so-called"breaking her nose,then ran off for almost 10mins,then came back holding a tissue over her nose. When she said"way to go Johnny,you broke my nose"& briefly held the tissue up for him to see,it all of a sudden,had red on it.Thinking she was really hurt,he asked to see her nose out of concern,she wouldn't let him see it.And when he later found the tissue with the suposid blood on it,It was nail polish!!! She is friggin nuts! I feel so bad for Johnny. My brother was married to a woman VERY similar sounding to Amber& seeing the mental, emotional & physical abuse he went through was absolutely heartbreaking

quick note about the makeup, the reason it was so pivotal is that the attorney said "she carried THIS makeup kit in her bag with her everywhere to cover up bruises" then entered it as evidence. So effectively without saying the words "she used the (make/model here) makeup kit to hide bruises" she did still say that...entering that makeup kit as an exhibit is arguably perjury (by legal definition it is a misrepresentation of evidence under oath)

The thing with the make up is.. they can't just say "it's an example, we never specified the exact type" when every single one of Johnny's witnesses were asked "do you know what brand of foundation, concelear, powder.. Amber uses?" And when they said no, they insisted the witnesses couldn't possibly have known whether she was wearing it or not if they didn't know the brand. So if they're hinging their argument on the fact that people were sure she wasn't wearing make up when claiming to have bruises, they should really have that argument airtight and be presenting the correct make-up.

she honestly thought she was going to get a free ride just because shes a woman. i don't think she understands just how much shes hurting the case for every woman out there who has legitimately experienced horrible things and is trying to get her story heard (no pun).
