Conviction

Leaves me here with nothing
In a mix that capture glimpse
Into another ending
When I break free from all I need
And everything that comes at me
I'm terrified just see the light
And if it is faith that decides
I'm not gonna fear for my life
I won't give up dying I'm trying to fight
And if you just stay by my side
I need you to feel what it's like
Being so close to losing what's mine
Another dream to make believe
That in this world i'm something
And to forget and just regret
Of taking things for granted
I have seen what this could be
And it's enough to prove to me
I'm sailing off the broken seas
Into nothing
And if it is faith that decides
I'm not gonna fear for my life
I won't give up dying I'm trying to fight
And if you just stay by my side
I need you to feel what it's like
Being so close to losing what's mine
The promise of
A new found love
Is here for you and I
I'll keep this up
To feel the rush
Of your touch
Tonight
I still see you
In the river
And if it is faith that decides
I'm not gonna fear for my life
I won't give up dying I'm trying to fight
And if you just stay by my side
I need you to feel what it's like
Being so close to losing what's mine
"Conviction" by Amber Pacific is a song that talks about memories of broken things that have left the singer with nothing, but who still manages to hold on to faith and fight for what is truly theirs. The line "I'm terrified just see the light shine it down" showcases the singer's fear of the unknown and their struggle to face their fears head-on. However, the line "I won't give up dying, I'm trying to fight" makes it clear that the singer won't give up and will fight until the end to get what is rightfully theirs.
The song is all about hope, determination, and perseverance in the face of struggles. It encourages the listener to hold onto their faith and fight for what they believe in.
