1) AMELY is the solo project of Berlin-based singer and artist Amely. She started playing violin, singing, writing and drawing when she was a kid. After a severe car crash in her teenage years, she struggled with blackouts and found refuge in writing and making music. In Berlin she teamed up with different producers to create her own musical vision, showing her heart and true being: slightly chaotic and spiritual, with a tendency for playfully deep lyrics carried by Amely’s warm yet edgy voice.
2) A blend of spirited rock and roll spiked with a healthy dose of power pop and alternative influences, Orlando, Florida's four-piece Amely had already made their mark on the music scene, despite only forming less than a year before they broke into the mainstream. Since playing their first show in March 2009, Amely had completed three national tours, opened for All Time Low, played the Unsilent Night Festival with A Day to Remember, Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, and Breathe Carolina.
The group had also performed on the 'Kevin Says Stage' at the Florida dates of Vans Warped Tour 2009. Love for the band has stretched to American Samoa in the South Pacific, where the band performed in front of 8,000 people for Blue Sky’s 10 Year Bash. In addition to their impressive tour resume, the band had clocked up nearly a million plays on their MySpace page, and they were named one of PureVolume’s "Top 20 Unsigned bands of 2009".
After being signed to popular indie rock label Fearless Records, Amely released a new EP titled Hello World in 2010.
On November 1, 2011, Amely announced via webchat that they would be breaking up. Although sad news, Petie, Nate, & Patrick have announced that they will be forming a new band, Sovereign Soldiers, and Brandon started touring as a solo artist.

The first verse introduces the listener to the dream and the hindrance that comes with trying to achieve it. The voice in the singer's head saying that they will never reach their dream is an expression of self-doubt and fear. Every step and move feels lost, and the singer's faith is shaken. However, the chorus provides the central message of the song which is to keep pushing and striving.
