٣٠ وَهُوَذَا آخِرُونَ يَكُونُونَ أَوَّلِينَ، وَأَوَّلُونَ يَكُونُونَ آخِرِينَ». 💗

Read that in context. Who was he talking to? What were they doing? They were using the power of His Name for their own glory. They cast our demons and helped others to glorify themselves. They were not doing so from a place of humility or as Royal subjects of the kingdom of heaven, but in an effort to make for themselves a name here on earth. They did good deeds in order to be found worthy - not because they were saved.

He says “I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.” Why would he call them lawless if they were doing all these wonders in His name? It could only be because of why they were doing it.

It’s like when God told Moses to tell the rock to bring forth it’s water, but instead Moses says “shall WE bring water for you out of this rock?” He took the glory on himself - he used the power God had given him to condescend to the congregation. And as a result, Moses was called unfaithful and was not allowed to enter the promised land. With this small shift in Moses’ intention, God told Moses “because you did not believe in me, to uphold me as holy in the eyes of the people, you shall not bring them to the land I have given them.”

We must all align ourselves in heart and spirit with the Lord. Making sure our will is HIS will. Making sure we roll back our anger and frustration with the lawlessness that permeates the world right now, and walk in peace of the light of the Lord. We may call out evil and darkness - in fact we MUST, but we cannot do that if we are also consumed with rage and hatred at the people practicing them. Being consumed with our own negative emotions, which tend to twist and block out our ability to connect properly with the Spirit, is practicing lawlessness. We can love our neighbor, but we cannot “tolerate” their sin - because allowing evil to permeate is practicing lawlessness. We can do wonders in His Name, but we must do so for His glory - not for ours. We can counsel our children to live righteously, but we must do so for His glory, and for their souls, not because WE fear the shame we will feel if our children stumble.

“I never knew you” is for those that practice lawlessness in His Name. There are a lot of ways to do this - and we are all guilty of it sometimes. But we cannot use it as a way to feel fear of rejection. Instead it should be a reminder to constantly humble ourselves, to tame our emotions so they do not become inflamed and lead us astray, to align ourselves always with His Will. It’s a lifelong practice for sure. But as the Bride, thru faithfulness, we will become better at our roles as time goes by - as long as we remember what our roles are.

The scariest chapter to me was Deuteronomy 28 about curses !! 😳

And i literally was shook after reading the very last few sentences of the bible in revelation 😨

"I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this scroll: If anyone adds anything to them, God will add to that person the plagues described in this scroll.

19 And if anyone takes words away from this scroll of prophecy, God will take away from that person any share in the tree of life and in the Holy City, which are described in this scroll.

20 He who testifies to these things says, “Yes, I am coming soon.”

Amen. Come, Lord Jesus.

21 The grace of the Lord Jesus be with God’s people. Amen."

@sbhgamen1671

(To me this verses answers that one and you are right it’s more scary 😅)

Romans 4

5 But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.

6 Even as David also describeth the blessedness of the man, unto whom God imputeth righteousness without works,

7 Saying, Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven, and whose sins are covered.

8 Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not impute sin.

I know some of you will be wondering why I said "people are in Hell" right now. I obviously cannot explain this in a video with a 60 second time limit. So I will make a video on what happens to us after we die. But for now please read Luke 16, where a rich man cries out from Hell and asks another man (Lazarus) form the dead to warn his brothers who will still alive so they do not enter this place of torment. I totally admit I get things wrong so if I missed something please let me know and I'd like to hear your thoughts and comments so I can study this important topic further - Joe

@sapoman01

The scariest verse for me is” depart from me, I never knew you

@raearnold83

It is because of this list that he will say that.
