Ammen Lyrics

Y yo aquí estoy hablando
Niños están gritando
Y yo sigo jugando
Animales como yo
Se están exterminando
Alguien nos da señales
Y seguimos ignorando
La bola de fuego nos está quemando
El océano está intentando ahogarnos
La tierra se defiende quiere matarnos
Vamos hermanos míos
Hagamos algo
In the song Tiempo by Ammen, the lyrics criticize humanity’s ignorance and apathy towards the environmental and social issues that currently plague the world. The song begins by acknowledging the destructive state of the world and the suffering of its inhabitants, particularly children and animals. However, despite the obvious signs and warnings, people continue to engage in trivial activities and ignore the cries for help.
The chorus urges listeners to take action and unite against the impending threats, including the fire, ocean, and earth, personified as entities seeking to harm humanity. The song highlights the urgency of the situation and emphasizes the need for collective action. The second verse touches on the socially constructed notion of time and its impact on society. The lyrics suggest that time has become a false construct, with work and money replacing traditional beliefs and values. The rich and powerful hold more power, while the poor are left with little choice but to pray for better opportunities.
The song draws attention to the need for introspection and self-reflection. The lyrics urge listeners to stop following the herd mentality and focus on individual growth and development. The song encourages unity, reminding listeners that all human beings share the same fate and that the planet is a shared home. The song concludes by emphasizing the importance of joy, despite the challenges, and the need for collective resilience.
