And Giselle and Robert both make good points, that there's more to true love than just singing and not everyone is meant for everybody and some relationships take a while to blossom; but at the same time if you have a heart of gold, remain positive, and prove to your partner about how much your really care for them, then sooner or later your all of your dreams will come true.

I don't think anyone's talking about the lyrics at 2:13. Giselle sang the lyrics: "Well, does he take you out dancing just so he can hold you close?" "Dedicate a song with words meant just for you?"
And with Robert saying with each lyric that he can't dance nor sing. This is a foreshadowing for later in the movie where they danced in the ball and Robert got to dance with Giselle close and sang to her ear softly. Showing how that it's how they knew they loved each other.😍💕

And also notice that when Giselle was all about "how does she know you love her if you don't tell her and show her", but when it comes to the last dance in So Close she was ENTIRELY speechless and can't sing a word when Robert expresses all his love without actually telling? (and the fact that they were both wearing a fairy-tale and a modern costume in both scenes but totally switched, is evidence of how profoundly they have changed each other. This film did a marvelous job in foreshadowing, and I hope its magic continues in Disenchanted!

Enchanted is irreplaceable and incomparable than the sequel Disenchanted.

As much as I loved and enjoyed Disenchanted, Enchanted is still my favorite. The songs has a different genres, ranges, compositions, and melodies. All songs are INCREDIBLE.

This is why Amy Adams is one of my faves lol. She’s fun, sparkly & altogether a happy person. You can just see it in this movie. But she also has this broad minded appreciation for a good dark intense drama (Sharp Objects). Shes brilliant & she’s just completely relatable. I like actors who are genuinely happy down to earth people who also aren’t afraid to tackle dark themes. She’s really versatile & such a good actress. And she’s a working mother! Gotta love her 👏🏻

My daughter and i watch this so often, my nephew got this song stuck in his head. He said he was singing it at school under his breath. He was a senior at that time. Lol. So every now and then i watch this movie and send him the song. A fun reminder of things past He laughs and rolls his eyes. My daughter and i love this movie.

Sometimes I'm still in awe that they just picked the perfect person to play Giselle. I fully believe no one could have pulled it off the way Amy Adams did. She played the character in such a loving and heartfelt way that it never once felt disingenuous. That's quite the feat. I love this movie to bits, but the entire premise of it is completely ridiculous on paper. They wrote and cast it in a way that made it work beautifully.

I highly recommend Tangled: The Series (starting off with 00 episode)
I love it more than the film :) It's remarkably beautiful masterpiece made with love (without previous creators, since they didn't want to have anything to do with Tangled ever again, and that speaks volumes I would say).

@Lulu R. They were offered to work with its universe once again and they refused. Voice cast came back (I prefered Mandy Moore in the TV show, since they actually got her challenging Broadway level songs and she nailed all of them) but writers and crew had enough of it. That's why the show feels so fresh and hits different. It's definitely not for kids :) and I love it for that. Eugene's character changed a bit, but that can simply be explained by his character being explored more than in the original film. He even gets his own backstory that is not being told but rather shown.

There are so many great things about this scene--the music, the choreography, the vocals. However, I think the true brilliance is how it both pokes fun at AND celebrates movie musical numbers. The juxtaposition of Robert being mystified by the tropes at play and the homages to movie musicals is genius.

I love this scene! It’s is perhaps one of the best of the whole film. Every single detail is orchestrated so perfectly. The arrangements of the individual instruments, the melody, the vocals and harmonies, the complicated dance routines, staging of the characters, and film directing are all just superb, and come together to make one magnificent scene!
