The opening lines of the stanza convey a sense of disconnection and avoidance as the singer expresses her unwillingness to confront the usual markers of time and space such as the stars, moon, or sun. Thank you from a Scottish girl living in Western Australia who can't get home to visit her family due to covid. Your music keeps my head calm and my heart beating, waiting for the day I can return to my homeland. It's been 9 years since my husband and children have been home together as a family. Unfortunately there's no hope of getting back anytime soon due to the Western Australian government not allowing us to travel overseas 😔 🏴
