Alex G has been my favorite artist for many years, had the chance to see him live which was one of my favorite moments ever and I’ve enjoyed every single album he’s released. If there’s something I feel about this song is pity of not liking it, not hate to it or the band. I’ve come back to this video around 20 times now to better form my understanding of this song. As a huge Alex G fan, at first, I thought the video was subversively mocking something and wasn’t sure on my feeling towards the composition. Now, I’m getting the feelings I get from the 70’s prog group, Goblin and horror soundtrack maestro Dario Argento. I’m glad I persisted. Thank you, Alex G.
