In May 2010, after a successful year of rewarding satisfactions, AN OCEAN BETWEEN US got struck by lightning. After enjoying incredible press and fan worship from all around the world after the release of their first self-produced and self-financed debut EP Drowning (not to mention the countless gigs around Italy), drummer and rhythm guitar player quit, leaving Dan, Kla and Nick with only 5 months to recruit two new members and finish the songwriting process for their first debut album The Failings, with studio sessions already booked for November.
Enter 16 years old prodigy Ale, who not only learned ten songs from scratch in three months, but also turned them upside down. Decent modern metal songs became awesome metal monsters; you don’t need to read further, you just need to press play on your whatever device you are using.
