In 1973 she was cast opposite Víctor Manuel in Morbo and he became her husband as well as the composer of the songs included in her first album. In 1982 she released "Ana en Rio", an album with Brazilian music that included the song "Balance" and became an instant hit.

The success of this tour lead to a new one, "El Gusto es Nuestro" with Miguel Rios, Joan Manuel Serrat y Victor Manuel.

Why él lanza a volar
The song "Una flecha más" by Ana Belen talks about a forbidden love affair between a man and a woman who met "chastely" and discovered that "sin is wrong". This ironic take on the morality of sin reflects on how society is not always accepting of unconventional relationships. The lyrics open with "Verlo para creer" which means "Seeing is believing". This line sets the tone of the song, trying to show that society often needs visual evidence to believe that something is happening. The next line talks about the woman losing all the battles in life she faced, giving the impression that the affair perhaps gave her a feeling of victory that she otherwise lacked. The singer then reveals that the man the woman fell in love with was not a Don Juan but rather someone much older, who was not the stereotypical charming lover. However, they found something that was missing in their current relationships.
The song humorously shows how the couple found pleasure and escape from their mundane lives through their clandestine meetings, seeking out any opportunity they could find to be alone together, even watching television together. The lyrics suggest that while society may judge or condemn these actions, the couple's relationship was fulfilling and enjoyable for them. The song also implies that this relationship was safe and did not hurt anyone else, and should, therefore, be allowed. In the end, the song emphasizes the uncertainty of society's morals and questions whether such relationships are genuinely wrong or just looked down upon by society.
