The lyrics of Ana Diaz’s song “Det var du” suggest the struggle of moving on from a past relationship. The singer seems to be searching for someone who makes them feel the same way their past partner did, but realizes that it’s impossible to replicate that feeling with anyone else. The lyrics also seem to imply a sense of regret, as the singer wonders if things could have been different and if there could have been a better outcome for their relationship. The line “Det är konstigt hur man glömmer alla fula grejer först av allt” (“It’s strange how you forget all the bad stuff first”) suggests that while the singer recognizes that things were not perfect in their past relationship, they still can’t help but focus on the positive memories.
The chorus repeats the phrase “Det var du” (“It was you”) multiple times, emphasizing the fact that the past partner had a significant impact on the singer’s life. The verses describe the singer’s attempts to move on, such as going out on Friday nights and trying to distract themselves, but the memories of the past relationship continue to haunt them. The line “Låter honom kyssa mig, smakar inte alls som dig” (“Let him kiss me, it doesn’t taste like you at all”) suggests that the singer is trying to move on by dating other people, but can’t escape the feeling that nobody can compare to their past partner.
Overall, the song is a heartfelt exploration of the complex emotions surrounding a breakup and the difficulty of moving on from someone who had a profound impact on your life.

@CJ-wp8fe
Är inte produktionen faktiskt riktigt bra? Snygg körsång, trummor+bas låter clean, bra balans på elektroniskt/akustiskt ljud etc. :)
