Pretending not to see their needs
Ignoring the plight of these children won't make their situation any better; I must take action to help them.

A summer disregard, a broken bottle top
The shattered remains of a beer bottle on the ground signify the careless, selfish behavior of people in the summer months.

And a one man soul
In contrast to the large groups of people who stay indoors and fail to interact with each other, there is one person who is brave enough to face the challenges in the world alone.
