I got my dad’s green eyes, it was just us surrounded by a sea of blue, lol. I was jealous of my brother as a kid, blue eyes are pretty. But I came to love them, mine are green with an amber circle around the pupil, which means I technically have heterochromia, something I recently learned. I lost my dad not long ago, and now I love my eyes more than ever, because I can still see him whenever I look in the mirror.

I have the same combination, all green but with a very thin amber circle ⭕ somewhere around the centre. Super technically it would make them not "green" overall, but I just learnt that green color in the eyes is not an independent color, but a combination of multiple pigments? Anyways, eyes are really the beauty of nature.

I have hazel eyes that look like a combo between green, gray, and a teensy bit of honey brown. They also change color depending on my mood. If I'm happy, they're brighter and more green grayish with gold specs, and if I'm angry they're a dark grayish brown with specs of green. Idk how that works but they happen to be pretty fun. Like certain colors make the green in my eyes pop, like purples and blues. Shit's wack but I love my eyes lol. They help me see :)

One day we were sitting in the break room at the same time and someone else came in and I pointed out his green eyes, saying the colour was so beautiful. The other person told me my eyes were the exact same colour as his... I was so surprised, but happy. To think I have that colour of eyes! Romina, I used to be bothered by this until I noticed that the people who were most desired have brown eyes. From the Pretty Woman, Julia Roberts to the useless Kardashians (😄) that everyone wishes to emulate, and even to Johnny Depp, George Clooney and almost every swarthy Arabic or Mediterranean person, we are desired the most. It's true! There's a warmth and mystique there.
I prefer the colours of blues and greens, but the colour doesn't make the person. Consider blue eyed Ted Bundy or Gary Ridgeway compared to blue eyed Zac Efron or Chris Hemsworth.
And let's be honest, if you could have any colour eyes that you wanted, would it be any of those known to us? I would like one pure purple and one turquoise.

I'm a female in and from Northern Europe and I have green eyes (depending on the lighting). Not very rare in my country, but if I'd ever go to America, Asia or Africa I will probably get the stares. Looking forward to it! (I've only been to Thailand, Malaysia and Singapore once when I was very young, besides, I've never been outside of Europe)

I have multicolored eyes, I guess that’s called hazel. An outer ring of dark blue, an inner ring of yellow, a burst of green and a little bit of brown. Depending on the light, they shine more of one color than others. And when I cry, they turn more green. I don’t understand how they change, but it is very cool. I once had a photographer compliment me on their color.

I have light green eyes and northern european heritage and also have been treated for ocular melanoma. There is not evidence as you suggest that sun exposure is the cause of OM, rather it is a genetic mutation and very rare. It is also quite a deadly cancer that not many know about. Look up heterochromia eyes and then tell me which eye color you like. Also there are a lot more versions of heterochromia than just the blue eye and brown eye combo....there is central heterochromia for example where you you have one color circle around hre pupil and another color around that circle. I have central heterochromia with a golden brown circle around my pupil and blue around the outer edge. It's one of my husbands favorite features.

Human genetics is a fascinating thing to study. Remains of a British person were found that dates back to about 10,000-20,000 years ago show that the male had dark skin and blue eyes. Scientists were able to sequence the DNA, that’s how they were able to tell of course. Anyways i find it really sad that that phenotype got eliminated from the human population. I'm have Celtic origin and I possess everything described with green eyes (as I sip on Irish cream), however when my son was born he had brown eyes as was later considered to be the colour of root beer. I think my eyes are unusual. They're a very light green... and I imagine that's the reason they change color with what I wear. It's as though colors are reflected back into my eyes 👀 they have been a bit of a topic for discussion with some people I meet, but more prevalent when I was younger. I have green eyes. I'm the only one besides my Norwegian grandfather (maternal) to have that color, though my Finnish/Swedish grandmother (paternal) did have an unusual blueish/greenish color. My other Finnish grandfather (paternal) had ice-blue eyes, a color my father has, and my Spanish grandmother (maternal) had pretty, honey-brown eyes.

My first son had dark brown eyes at birth! They were never blue or grey. My second son ended up with golden eyes but were slate blue at birth.

Edit: i personally find eyes with limbal rings more attractive than no limbal rings even if its blue/green lol. I have kinda big limbal ring

Green eyed people are trusted less, and are usually considered less responsible and more sexually aggressive. I dont care if they're more attractive, I'd rather have brown eyes and look more respectable. I've actually considered contacts for this reason honestly. I've always been teased for my green eyes, freckles and shortness. Because at the end of the day people inherently prefer tall women with fair skin and dark eyes.

I've found most people that say they have green eyes actually have hazel eyes. True green eyes are very rare. Just as yellow/amber eyes.

I checked the difference between Green eyes and Hazel eyes. 　　★ The answer states : A Green eye usually has a solid dark green hue with more or less a single color throughout the iris. Hazel eyes are multi-colored, with a shade of green and a characteristic burst of brown or gold radiating outwards from around the pupil ！！❣

Green eyes tend to look pretty gray ,especially on pictures.. like in sunlight they're bright green but in room light they're more blue and sometimes grey ,it' so weird. Because brown stays brown , blue stays blue but green and hazel eyes can cgange so much depending on the light that hits them🤔

i have green eyes, with an almost honey colored circle around my pupil.... but sadly, my pupil is always dilated. On very rare occasions they are small. Like i know ppl that after years realized that i have green eyes and are super surprised, bc you think they are brown due to my pupils, who are like big black holes. Kinda creepy. Only when i am blinded by light, so that my eyes acctually hurt, they get small. After waking up for example or after going into a bright room the first few seconds...bad luck i guess¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I may be mistaken about it but I believe Shakespeare choose the color green to be the color of an individual's eyes who is a very jealous person by his or hers by overall nature or personality. Moreover, people who are 'green-eyed' are very rare and they take up less than one percent of the entire globe's population.
