They both arrange traditional songs as well as composing their own material. Their songs are sung in the Romani language, and the singers are generally accompanied by guitar, mandolin and tambura; for percussion they use spoons, jugs, wooden trough and oral bass. The group generally performs with eight members, although they frequently feature young talented Roma musicians in their concerts as special guests.

If I had to introduce Romani folk music to someone by only one song, probably this would be the one. It showcases many beautiful characteristics of Romani music, such as the use of human voice in an instrument like way, all the special percussion instruments, and two truly unique and fantastic singers, a male and a female. Moreover, this song has a beautiful arch, it builds up the tension by a sequence of about five different themes, and in the final one the voice of Miczura is so powerful and emotional. Perfectly composed and beautifully performed.
