Escuto o seu eco e a melodía do seu son
Vivindo a emoción dun novo albor
Cheios de esperanza, imos cara a unha nova visión

O tren que me leva pola beira do Mi
The train that takes me along the banks of the Miño River
Leva-me ás terras onde nacín eu
Takes me to the lands where I was born
E ás lembranzas das miñas vivencias
And to the memories of my experiences
Que se ocupan na miña alma sen fin
That occupy my soul without end
O tren que me leva polos camiños
The train that takes me through the pathways
Que eu anduve de neno co meu can
That I walked with my dog when I was a child
E que agroma na miña mente
And that springs up in my mind
Cando sinto a voz do tren choupar
When I hear the sound of the train whistle
O tren que me leva ás terras da nai
The train that takes me to my mother's lands
Que me ensinaron a vivir así
That taught me how to live like this
Despois de tanto camiñar
After so much walking
No meu corazón sempre estarán aquí
They will always be here in my heart
O tren que me leva polas lembranzas
The train that takes me through the memories
Da miña xente, da miña nación
Of my people, of my nation
E que acaricia a miña vida
And that caresses my life
Cando veño visitar a miña terra
When I come to visit my land
O tren que me leva polas emocións
The train that takes me through the emotions
De ver a miña xente e de estar con ela
Of seeing my people and being with them
E de gozala sen ningunha restricción
And enjoying it without any restriction
O tren que me leva ata os meus soños
The train that takes me to my dreams
E me fai pensar con claridade
And makes me think clearly
Que ao mellor algún día volverei
That maybe someday I will return
Á miña terra para sempre quedar
To my land to stay forever

EL TREN
Dispara el tren
con bocanadas de humo
tiros al viento.
Y A LAS CINCO EN PUNTO
A través de los montes
silva, silbaba el tren
tirando humo a las cinco
sobre el gris terraplén.
Cabeza de barril
con el ansia de anden
rueda, rueda veloz
sobre el tiempo que fue.
Cantando a despedidas
