Andrew Taylor's new album, entitled Mohribold, is an epic musical tapestry that weaves between a multitude of genres. The hour plus of music is crammed with a detail and energy that seems to come from another realm.
There are no discernable lyrics here, instead an array of instruments seem to speak a language native to the unseen, deep, murky and mysterious wilds of Norfolk but a Norfolk populated by African drums and South-American ukeleles and its landscape of bouzoukis, old organs, trumpets and assorted percussion creates something of a psych-folk symphony.
Although a prolific musician in his own right Andrew has also collaborated with many other artists. One such project was Nick Worrall's musicollage experiment The Fortress Project on which he contrbuted penny whistles, banjo, mellotron and amongst other things some charango.
Steve Cobby (Fila Brazillia) and Porky (Pork Recordings) are 'The Cutler', Andrew provides vocals on 'Pyramid of Power' from their 'Black Flag EP', available from i-tunes.

The Andrew Taylor song "Love Love Love" is a simple, yet powerful plea for love. The repetition of the lyrics "come on and love me" creates a sense of urgency and desperation for the love that the singer is seeking. The use of the "da da" melody in the background adds to the playful and carefree tone of the song.
While the lyrics themselves are straightforward, they capture a feeling that almost everyone can relate to at some point in their life - the desire to be loved. The repetition of the phrase "come on and love me" also highlights the fear of rejection that many people feel when they put themselves out there and ask for love.
Overall, "Love Love Love" is a catchy and memorable song that encapsulates the universal desire for love and affection.

Agree👍 DD cannot be the same without Andy. I can't get used to the new guy, nothing personal but I miss Andy on stage.

But, Andy left himself for the second time! DD has no problem with him but he is!

I'm a big hair metal fan from the 80s. I still listen to "I might lie", "rain comes down" and "take it easy" on a regular basis. Good songs.

When Andy auditioned for Duran Duran they were really impressed with him . He was the most experinced musician out of all of them at the time . It Doesn't surprised me at all that Andy moved on and did his own thing. He was a gutarist and wanted to get back to his rock roots. He defiantly deserved more success with his solo career then he got. He must of had crap managment or something, it's obvious the guy has mad talent.

I always wondered why they hired Simon to sing when they already had him. He's much better.
