The band comprised of Suze (vocals), Corina (guitar, vocals), Cosmic (synth, bass, tambourine, vocals) and Birsen (bass, vocals). Although a collaborative project, Suzy shared lead vocals with Corrina and wrote much of their material. The Androids were well received by all, including the music press of the day. They were an integral part of the post punk scene and released one album "Blood Robots" (Recorded at Street Level Studios and released on Fuck Off Records), with one music paper headline proclaiming it as "Android Genius". The Androids often performed with other West London squatland heroes including The Mob, The Astronauts, Zounds and Poison Girls and toured in Britain and Europe until about 1983.

@AvangionQ
Seems this list could do with some honorable mentions ... 1984, A Clockwork Orange, A.I., Akira, Battle Royale, The Book of Eli, Brazil, Children of Men, Cloud Atlas, Dredd, Elysium, Equilibrium, The Fifth Element, The Handmaid's Tale, Mad Max, The Matrix, Repo Men, The Road, Robocop, The Running Man, Starship Troopers, Terminator, THX1138, Total Recall, 12 Monkeys, V for Vendetta, WALL-E
@Jolll4
man... I gotta agree on those
@dumdristig
The book The Running Man would definitely qualify. The movie, though, would not. They stripped out pretty much all of the social commentary. It's scary, though, how prescient the book seems to be...
The other ones on your list that I've seen, though, I agree, should at least be honorable mentions...
@Electricshrock
AND Planet of the Apes, I Am Legend/The Omega Man (same premise), Waterworld, Time Machine, The Postman...
@AvangionQ
Electricshrock Thanks for that, knew I missed a few ... :-)
@raygoshay1400

@gustavodelascio7269
+Tyler Gardner Right, how could they not put them in there?
@BorisTeodosijevic
+Tyler Gardner 1984 is not dystopian, it is today's reality. That's why it isn't on the list.
