The band comprised of Suze (vocals), Corina (guitar, vocals), Cosmic (synth, bass, tambourine, vocals) and Birsen (bass, vocals). Although a collaborative project, Suzy shared lead vocals with Corrina and wrote much of their material. The Androids were well received by all, including the music press of the day. They were an integral part of the post punk scene and released one album "Blood Robots" (Recorded at Street Level Studios and released on Fuck Off Records), with one music paper headline proclaiming it as "Android Genius". The Androids often performed with other West London squatland heroes including The Mob, The Astronauts, Zounds and Poison Girls and toured in Britain and Europe until about 1983.

@Turtle152
The cassette is fuller-sounding than their rather trebly LP. I love the loopy early versions of "Fast Car" and "Pretty Nun." This band must've been something to behold in live performance.

Agree, the cassette is my favourite - better capturing the live sound - they mashed my brains in happy earthy way a number of times - especially once on the 'rooms I remember....
