Grammer started as a busker on the Third Street Promenade in Santa Monica and later performed in the Viper Room, the Roxy Theatre (West Hollywood) and the House of Blues. Grammer perfected his writing skills as an artist whilst performing on the streets and according to the Keep Your Head Up Songfacts he wrote the song to raise his own spirits after a particularly long day.
His debut video for "Keep Your Head Up" (starring Rainn Wilson) was an iTunes video of the week in 2010, and the version on the artist's site uses an interactive interface that allows the viewer to "send the singer into goofy scenarios". He performed the song on The Rachael Ray Show on November 17, 2010. He is currently opening for Plain White T's for the second leg of their "Wonders of the Younger" tour.
In January 2011, he was named an "Artist to Watch" by Billboard magazine.
He performed at SXSW 2011, playing BMI's Acoustic Brunch, where he was one of the artists contributing to a recording produced by Hanson to benefit the victims of the 2011 Japan earthquake.
His "Keep Your Head Up" video was nominated for MTV's O Music Award for Most Innovative Music Video in April 2011
I Found You

Felt the wind underneath my wings
I been high and I been low
Played the fool and the star of the show
Gone along for a wild ride
And I can say looking in your eyes
That it all would have been a waste
I found cynicism
I found criticism
I've been the zero the hero
And I have been the villain
I've lost more than a heart could take
But I found you on the way
(On the way)
I found you, I found you
I found you, I found you
Oh, it all would've been a waste
But I found you on the way
On the way
I was the given the keys
To the city they were mine to keep
Over time every lock will change
But you'll love me all the same
I found pessimism
I found skepticism
I been the corner performer
And sung in front of millions
I've lost more then a heart can take
But I found you on the way
(On the way)
I found you, I found you
I found you, I found you
Oh it all would've been a waste
But I found you on the way
Whoa oh oh, oh oh oh, oh
Whoa oh oh, oh oh oh, oh
Whoa oh oh, oh oh oh, oh
Whoa oh oh, oh oh oh, oh
On the way I'll have won the race
If the one thing that I can say
(I found you, I found you
I found you, I found you
It all would've been a waste
But I found you on the way)
(Whoa oh oh, oh oh oh, oh) I found you, I found you
(Whoa oh oh, oh oh oh, oh) I found you, I found you
(Whoa oh oh, oh oh oh, oh) I found you, I found you
(Whoa oh oh, oh oh oh, oh) I found you on the way
The lyrics to Andy Grammer's song "I Found You" communicate a message of gratitude for the main character's journey through life. The singer reflects on the highs and lows of his experience, including times when he felt like a hero or a villain, and times when he faced cynicism and criticism. Despite these obstacles, the singer ultimately values his journey because he found the love of his life along the way. The lyrics suggest that, for the singer, finding love was the most important outcome of his journey.
The first verse of the song talks about the ups and downs of life, referencing moments of victory and defeat. The second verse continues this theme, and celebrates the idea that love endures, even as other things in life shift and change. The chorus repeats the phrase "I found you" several times, emphasizing the significance of the singer's discovery of love. The lyrics also suggest that, for the singer, love was something unexpected that he found along the way.
The lyrics to "I Found You" are therefore a testament to the power of love, and suggest that the journey of life is ultimately worthwhile because of the love we encounter along the way. Ultimately, the singer is grateful for his life's ups and downs, because they led him to the love of his life.

@Mggames-ds5dm
He does have many hits, but I'm surprised that he isn't that popular. I was expecting his channel to have at least 5-10M subs.

@@Mggames-ds5dm ikr??? I guess most people don't appreciate this type of music as much anymore, which sucks. He pours his heart into all his songs so I really hope he gets the recognition he deserves 😭
