There are concerns about whether he should be more careful in how he lives his life.

There are voices within him that he can't ignore who are urging him to follow his passions.

He's inspiring himself and referring to his inner voices, telling himself that he's up for the challenge.

He assures himself that he's not crazy to pursue his dreams and beliefs.

He believes that giving up on his dreams would be insane.

I've got five bucks waiting on a matinee
Andy enjoys spending his money to watch movies in the afternoon.

I love to see films in the middle of the day
He likes to spend his afternoons at the cinema.

Same movie seen a different way
He enjoys the variations in the movies he watches.

I don't think that makes me crazy
He acknowledges that his choices are unconventional, but he doesn't believe he's crazy for them.

And I start work on the opposite side of the clock
Andy has a schedule that's likely different from most people.

Tic tock clubs open at nine
He may be a performer or work in the entertainment industry, with shows starting late in the evening.

I like to rock till the early daylight
Andy enjoys performing late into the night.

Write music till five, this is my life
He spends his time writing and creating music.

This is not some slight disease we can try and cure
