Angélique Kidjo, is a five-time Grammy-Award winning Beninese singer-songwriter, actress, and activist who is noted for her diverse musical influences and creative music videos.
In 2007, Time magazine called her "Africa's premier diva." On September 15, 2021, Time included her in their list of the100 most influential people in the world
Kidjo is fluent in five languages: Fon, French, Yoruba, Gen (Mina), and English. She sings in all of them, and she also has her own personal language, which includes words that serve as song titles such as "Batonga". "Malaika" is a song sung in the Swahili language. Kidjo often uses Benin's traditional Zilin vocal technique and vacalese.
Boléro is a one-movement orchestral piece by the French composer Maurice Ravel (1875–1937). Originally composed as a ballet commissioned by Russian actress and dancer Ida Rubinstein, the piece, which premiered in 1928, is Ravel's most famous composition.

This is fantastic! When one could not think anymore could be done with Bolero. Just see a ballet version. Exquisite!

Very moving in every sense, the two voices matching perfectly in different pitches , perfect tuning , lilting along together with the voices of the choir

Wow! 😮 My mom was into symphonies & so we listened to a different version of this piece growing up.
This morning it was in my head & I didn't know the name of it so I sang it to Google & it led me to this. What a find! I'm going to text it to myself to listen to again.

@imnumber142
