The group's music utilizes neoclassical music combined with an ethereal tone.
Emerging from the heart and soul of harpist/composer/producer Carol Tatum, the Angels of Venice's sound is ethereal, joyous, firey, lush, mysterious and elegant. Driven by harp, flute, cello, hammered dulcimer and exotic percussion accompanied by world instruments such as udu, doumbek, oud, hurdy gurdy, bouzouki and recorder this group combines middle eastern, medieval and neoclassical styles to create an aural landscape that is at once compelling and provocative.

In music at school we had to create our own version of patchelbel's canon. Ever since then I've looked for various versions on here and until now my favourite had been a short, very techno version. But this..... This is simply beautiful..... I can't explain the magic of this, it makes me feel more relaxed than I have for a LONG time. I've been looking for a way to de-stress.... And I think I've found it. ^^

As with so many other people, Canon is one of my favorite pieces of music. I was a concert level classical guitarist & player around the world. No matter what country I played in, this was always the one piece of music that all people, everywhere, seemed to have the same reaction to. The arrangement is simple & clean allowing all instruments to be heard (I would swear I can even hear the breathing of the flutist at times). To all the musicians who performed this; thank you, it was wonderful.
