This album (released under the Nuclear Blast label) was marked by participation of a large number of musicians. It was produced by Bernd Wendlandt who wrote all 15 songs (4 of which are covers, though strongly transformed so the originals are difficult to recognize). Most cellos are played by B. Deutung, the guitars by Pitti Piatkowsky, other musicians contributed only on single tracks: Apocalyptica, Joachim Witt, Letzte Instanz, miLú/Mila Mar, Inchtabokatables, Roadernallee and Nik Page.
Previously, Claudia was a singer of German pop band X-perience, who had two hits: A Neverending Dream and Magic Fields. Throughout April 2005 Angelzoom formation is supporting Apocalyptica on their European tour.

I was lost in fear of death
Couldn't find a way to sleep
The abyss ahead was dark and deep
But someone then opened my mind
Made me able to fly with time, ahead
The stranger was holding my hand
On the eve of our doomsday
I fell in love in a stronger way
The magic creature from deepest space
Gave me safety and hope for a better future place
I couldn't lie in my bed
I was lost in fear of death
Couldn't find a way to sleep
The abyss ahead was dark and deep
But someone then opened my mind
Made me able to fly with time, ahead
The stranger was holding my hand
And I could see the rebirth of a land
On the eve of our doomsday
I fell in love in a stronger way
The magic creature from deepest space
Gave me safety and hope for a better future place
On the eve of our doomsday
I fell in love in a stronger way
The lovely stranger from a distant place
Gave me safety and hope for a better future place
On the eve of our doomsday
I fell in love in a stronger way
The lovely stranger from deepest space
Gave me safety and hope for a better future place
In Angelzoom's song "Doomsday," the singer cannot sleep because they are consumed by fear of death and what lies ahead. However, a stranger appears and "opens [their] mind" to the possibility of flying through time and witnessing the rebirth of a land. As the stranger holds the singer's hand, they begin to feel hope for a better future. On the eve of the doomsday, the singer falls in love in a stronger way with the "magic creature" from deepest space that provides safety and hope for a better future place.
One interpretation of this song could be that the stranger represents hope, whether it be faith, friendship, or love. Though the fear of death and the unknown loom, the presence of hope allows the singer to see the possibility of life and rebirth. The idea of a "magic creature" from deep space could also symbolize the power of imagination and creativity to inspire hope and provide a sense of safety in uncertain times.
Overall, "Doomsday" is a song about finding hope in the face of fear and uncertainty. Despite the darkness that surrounds us, there is always the possibility of rebirth and a brighter future.
