Do you agree with Lily Tomlin or Chad Everett?

@oleainatoivo

Tomlin was very dramatic, Chad said nothing wrong. He stated they both owned each other, It worked for them, end of story.

Lily all the way!

@cbeautifulworld11

I don't agree with either of them.
Lily was attention seeking and Chad made an easily misconstrued comment.
There's no way anyone would seriously think that Chad Everett felt that he owned his wife.
Lily is a legend yet I do not respect her choice in this clip.
For reference, I am a progressive, liberal woman and still do not think she exhibited strength by walking out.
If she were truly strong in that moment she would have stayed to inject her own perspective about whether or not men own women.

It was a joke. ...guess we just witnessed the prehistoric forerunner of WOKE lol.

She did not, "Storm" off the set. She walked casually, and said, quietly, "I have to go."

@BigBri550

Well, the exact words in the title say she "walks out," not storms off. And good on her for doing that- he was being a totally conceited ass.
