They are inspired by Beirut, I’m From Barcelona, Arcade Fire, Broken Social Scene, Sigur Ros, Noah And The Whales, etc. With the philosophy of 'something in opposite' Angsa & Serigala try to bring all of those opposites together. The band was formed in March 2008, consisting 10 personnel with different music background. The numbers of the personnel altogether with their well-concepted music trigger public to appreciate and listen to their music.

The number of the personnel doesn't make it difficult for Angsa&Serigala's creative process. The number of the personnel makes them similar to a 'family band' with many different musical backgrounds. Being close to each other inspires them in the making of their lyrics, mainly talk about their surroundings. Using Indonesian language in their lyrics, Angsa&Serigala try to deliver an understandable message for Indonesian citizens in each of their song, a simple message about everyday’s life. Still in their creative process, in each of their performance Angsa & Serigala has its own way to visualize their music, from their stage costume, the sound of glockenspiel and tom-tom played while running around the stage, until inviting two dancers using Swan and Wolf masks to respond one of their songs named “Balada Angsa dan Serigala” (Angsa&Serigala’s Ballad).

All of the things mentioned are the entertainment that Angsa & Serigala offers in each of their performance with different ways and styles. Those are Angsa dan Serigala’s little mission to make an interactive collaboration between audio and visual on the stage. With their never ending hopes and struggle, Angsa dan Serigala hopes that they could perform from stage to stage, to be an alternative entertainment for all of the people in Indonesia
