The natural world seems to sense impending disaster, as though everything is about to fall apart.

So we feed ourselves on the empty, and breath in their lies
We try to sustain ourselves with hollow ideals and false promises, accepting falsehoods as truth.

While the water brings no cleansing just reflects strangers eyes
Rather than purifying us, the water only shows us the alienated people that surround us.

We scream who are we to know who are we to question
We wonder what right we have to question the world around us and the authority that controls it.

At the end of it all Truth‘s to hard to mention
Ultimately, the truth is too difficult to bear and we cannot speak it aloud.

Buildings fall and the herds start running chased out by the skies
When disaster strikes, people panic and flee as the structures that once provided security come crashing down.

When all that comes from broken dreams are burnt out empty tries
Even our most impassioned attempts to recover from loss or failure seem futile and hopeless.

They feed themselves on the empty and breath out their lies
Others sustain themselves on the same empty aspirations and regurgitate the same false information.

While the water we‘ve been treading gets deeper all the while
As we keep moving forward, the difficulty and struggle we face only increases.

Don't get lost don‘t forge your own cage you‘ll not hold the key
We should be mindful to not trap ourselves in limiting beliefs or patterns, as we will ultimately not control our own destiny.

For very long
Even if we succeed in trapping ourselves, we can only maintain a false sense of security for so long.

While the water we‘ve been drinking it burns us deep inside
The same water that appeared to merely reflect strangers' eyes earlier now causes us pain and suffering.

We screamed who were we to know who where we to question
We are still uncertain if we have the right to question and understand the truth that evades us.

At the end of it all Our truth was to hard to mention
After all is said and done, the truth is still too difficult to acknowledge, face or speak.
