They have twice been nominated for Fuzz Magazine Awards, as "Best New Band" in 2003 and "Best Live Band" in 2004. They played sets during the awards ceremonies in both years. In August, 2006, Animal Jazz headlined the alternative stage at Russia's biggest open-air rock festival "Nashestvie."
