In July of the same year, she released her self-titled debut album which produced four successful singles and was certified platinum in Brazil. Her second studio album, Ritmo Perfeito (2014), also achieved commercial success in the country, and was accompanied by the release of her first live album Meu Lugar, on the same day. In 2015, she released her third studio album entitled Bang, which was certified platinum and spawned four successful singles "Deixa Ele Sofrer", the title track "Bang", "Essa Mina é Louca" and "Cravo e Canela". The album played a crucial role on establishing her almost dominant position in Brazilian pop music.
Between 2016 and 2018, Anitta embarked on numerous collaborations with artists such as Nile Rodgers, Maluma, Iggy Azalea, Major Lazer, Alesso and J Balvin, among others.
Eu tô preparada pra te dominar (vai, vai)
Eu tô preparada pra te dominar (vai, vai)
Eu tô preparada pra te dominar (vai, vai)
Eu tô preparada pra te dominar (vai, vai)
The lyrics to Anitta's "Cachorro Eu Tenho em Casa" are about a woman who is feeling confident and flirtatious. She makes it clear that she is not interested in any childish games or small talk. Instead, she wants a man who is confident and assertive, and who can satisfy her desires. She warns that if she sets her sights on someone, they should be prepared for her to take control. The repeated line "Eu tô querendo homem, cachorro eu tenho em casa" translates to "I'm looking for a man, I have a dog at home", which is a subtle way of saying that she's not looking for anything casual or temporary.
Throughout the song, Anitta asserts her independence and her ability to take charge in a relationship. She uses the analogy of a dog to metaphorically describe her unwillingness to be tamed or controlled by a man. She also makes it clear that she is not interested in a man who will cling to her like gum, but rather one who is confident and secure enough to give her space. Overall, the song is about a woman who knows what she wants and is not afraid to go after it.
