After achieving commercial success with her debut single "Meiga e Abusada" in 2012, she signed a recording contract with Warner Music Brazil in January 2013. In July of the same year, she released her self-titled debut album which produced four successful singles and was certified platinum in Brazil. Her second studio album, Ritmo Perfeito (2014), also achieved commercial success in the country, and was accompanied by the release of her first live album Meu Lugar, on the same day. In 2015, she released her third studio album entitled Bang, which was certified platinum and spawned four successful singles "Deixa Ele Sofrer", the title track "Bang", "Essa Mina é Louca" and "Cravo e Canela". The album played a crucial role on establishing her almost dominant position in Brazilian pop music.
Between 2016 and 2018, Anitta embarked on numerous collaborations with artists such as Nile Rodgers, Maluma, Iggy Azalea, Major Lazer, Alesso and J Balvin, among others. In 2017, she released her first Spanish song "Paradinha", which catapulted her partial transition to Spanish-language Latin pop and reggaeton music. Her collaboration on the same year with Colombian singer J Balvin "Downtown", became her breakthrough song in several Spanish-speaking countries. In 2019, she joined several collaborations with artists such as Madonna, Sofía Reyes, Rita Ora, Luis Fonsi, Ozuna and Black Eyed Peas. She later received critical acclaim for her trilingual fourth studio visual album, Kisses (2019), which earned her a nomination for the Latin Grammy Award for Best Urban Music Album. In March 2022, her Spanish single "Envolver" released by late 2021, from her fifth studio album Versions of Me (2022), topped the Global Top 50 chart on Spotify, making Anitta the first Brazilian artist and the first Latin female artist with a solo song to do so.
Anitta was named by the Associação Paulista de Críticos de Arte (APCA) as the revelation of the year in music in 2013. She has received numerous accolades and several nominations at the Latin Grammy Awards, Latin American Music Awards, Billboard Latin Music Awards and Premios Lo Nuestro awards. Anitta has won five MTV Europe Music Awards for Best Brazilian Act, and became the first Brazilian artist to win the award for Best Latin American Act. In 2017, she was ranked as one of the most influential celebrities in social media according to Billboard.
POquito
Anitta Lyrics

Just poquito, to get you hooked on all of this
Like qué rico, just enough to make a mess
But you know, you can't resist
U-uh, u-uh
I got him on the way
Drivin' here with no brakes
And you know that it's saved
Way that I put it down
He always come around
He been lost, now he found
He been lost, now he found
Ay-ay-ay-ay-ay-ya
I got him talking li-i-i-ike it's love
I'm gonna get him hi-i-i-igh enough
I got him talking li-i-i-ike it's love, love
Poquito, it only takes a little bit
Just poquito, to get you hooked on all of this
Like qué rico, just enough to make a mess
But you know, you can't resist
U-uh, u-uh
Poquito, it only takes a little bit
Just poquito, to get you hooked on all of this
Like qué rico, just enough to make a mess
But you know, you can't resist
U-uh, u-uh
Give me feelings that'll never go away babe
Love you like crazy
Man, fucking you the greatest
Always askin' 'bout my current situation
Didn't wanna have you caught up in a love triangle (oh)
I fucked up on that "we" shit
Few girls for me, they ain't share (yo)
Why me? I gave 'er a few reasons (couple of reasons)
Pullin' up till we in wheelchairs (yeah)
What's the ride like, let me know
Bad bitch come forward just a little bit more
Skipping our conversations and side notes (skip that)
Love that she's perfect from her head to toe (yeah)
Poquito, it only takes a little bit
Just poquito, to get you hooked on all of this
Like qué rico, just enough to make a mess
But you know, you can't resist
U-uh, u-uh
Poquito, it only takes a little bit
Just poquito, to get you hooked on all of this
Like qué rico, just enough to make a mess
But you know, you can't resist
U-uh, u-uh
(Ay-ay-ay-ay-ay-ya)
I got him talking li-i-i-ike it's love
I'm gonna get him hi-i-i-igh enough
I got him talking li-i-i-ike it's love, uh)
Poquito, it only takes a little bit
Just poquito, to get you hooked on all of this
Like qué rico, just enough to make a mess
But you know, you can't resist
U-uh, u-uh
Poquito, it only takes a little bit
Just poquito, to get you hooked on all of this
Like qué rico, just enough to make a mess
Once you know, you can't resist
U-uh, u-uh
The lyrics to "Poquito" by Anitta & Swae Lee explore the seductive power of attraction, and how just a little bit can be enough to hook someone into a passionate connection. The opening lines convey this point clearly, with the repetition of "poquito" emphasizing the idea that even a small amount of excitement is enough to draw someone in. The phrase "qué rico" (meaning "how delicious" in Spanish) adds to the sensuality of the lyrics, suggesting that the attraction is not just physical but also pleasurable.
The rest of the song goes on to describe the singer's own experience of this dynamic. They describe how they have a man "on the way" who can't resist them and is talking "like it's love." The lyrics suggest that the singer is enjoying this attention and is confident in their own allure. They also touch on the topic of infidelity, with lines like "didn't wanna have you caught up in a love triangle" and "I fucked up on that 'we' shit," indicating that the singer is comfortable with a certain level of ambiguity in their relationships.
Overall, the lyrics to "Poquito" are an exploration of the power of attraction and the thrill of seduction. They convey a sense of playful confidence, with the singer reveling in their own desirability and the excitement of the chase.
