In Ankara's song "Sekunti ennen sadetta" (A Second Before the Rain), the lyrics describe a tumultuous relationship that the singer cannot escape from. Stop video...I absolutely love this tent!
The whole air tent idea would be perfect for me. Tent polls suck when you're setting it up alone.
I have the small Ryobi air compressor that would work perfectly for an air tent, as you just set the psi to what's required, and press the button.
It's amazing how I've just recently found your channel, and you already have me wanting to tent camp.
I was looking for a used travel trailer, but even used is too expensive.
I have 20 acres in the California desert (just west of Yuma, and Mexico), where I could camp during the winter months.
I also have a shipping container on the property which would allow me to store some of the camping gear, but not all, as it's not climate controlled (no electricity to the property).
I've already started an Amazon "camping list". I don't have a lot of money to spend on equipment. The tent is the biggest expense. Currently looking at a small cabin style tent.
I'm really getting excited about this.
The only other thing I need is a new BFF. Lost my boy to cancer about five years ago, and have just now started thinking about rescuing a new friend.
It wouldn't be camping without a fur baby with me.
Thank you Tony for motivating me to get back out there camping. I wasn't sure about doing it alone at the age of 60, but I think it'll still be a good time.
Wind will definitely be an issue, and even with quality stakes, I don't know how it will work out with our sandy soil.
Lastly, even though there is plenty of wood on the property, you've convinced me that charcoal is the way to go.
