The lyric "Pij, ale bolest vzniknout nesmí" (Drink, but the pain must not arise) implies that the person is drinking to forget the pain but is trying to hold it back.

The chorus repeats that the wind drives love out of harbors and the person should remember who they loved, as it is as important to them as their own blood. The final line "Nana hledá Zolu ... Přání, splněná přání tě děsí" (Nana looks for Zolo...Fulfilled wishes scare you) is somewhat enigmatic, but perhaps suggests that the person is afraid of the future or the aftermath of the storm.
