Those kinds of statements aren't made lightly. They don't come without merit. In Anthony Evans' case, these words couldn't ring more true.
It's not every day that a new talent emerges with as much promise and inspiration as this Dallas, Texas native. Yet, Anthony Evans never thought he'd be here. He couldn't have forecasted this future had he been asked to do so just a few years ago. With that said, the June 8th, 2004 release of his inspiring INO Records debut, Even More, is an accomplishment for which he takes very little credit.
"I realize now that God has orchestrated everything," says Anthony. "Sometimes we don't see it, but He's painting this whole picture for us as long as we allow Him to do it. I had come to the place where I could listen to Him say, 'Anthony, just trust Me.'
"God has taken me out of my comfortable Christian environment and through this, I've realized I can't stand on my own. Without God as the focal point of my life, everything was and is pointless. I still can't fathom the depth of His unconditional love for me and that God accepts me just as I am. Each song on Even More captures a dimension of this experience and how it has affected my life."
Love Is

But I protected, and kept my heart
From you
I saw your hurting eyes still I decided to
Move away keep myself safe.
I apologize cause I've realized
Love is willing to get hurt
Love gives needing no return
I've learned that's what
Love Is
You said you loved me
So you came and you gave it all
For me
You could of changed your mind but you decided to
Walk that road You knew that is would go
To your end so I could live
Chorus
It can be uncertain but still
It moves because it's worth it.
The lyrics to Anthony Evans's song "Love Is" discuss the concept of love and how sometimes, in order to truly experience it, we must be willing to let our guards down and let ourselves be vulnerable. The opening lines admit that while the singer may have said "I love you," they did not truly mean it because they held their heart back and did not fully give themselves over to the other person. However, the singer has now come to understand that real love involves taking risks and being willing to get hurt. Love is not about expecting anything in return, but rather about giving everything we have to another person without reservation. The final lines of the song acknowledge that love can be uncertain and scary, but it is ultimately worth it to take the chance and experience it fully.
Overall, the message of the song is that love requires bravery and vulnerability. It involves giving of ourselves completely without expecting anything in return. While it can be a scary and uncertain journey, the payoff is worth it in the end.
