Born in Ukraine, the now tri-lingual singer suffered from breathing complications that led to a tracheotomy at an extremely young age, and doctors predicted Anthony would lose all ability to speak, let alone sing. But after a miraculous recovery, he regained the use of his voice and throughout his teens he could be found shuttling between Pennsylvania and New York City, singing whenever and wherever he had the opportunity.

Simon couldn't be more wrong about this performance. I thought it was terrific - that last note especially. Anthony Fedorov is an amazing singer - one of the best male vocalists ever to be on American Idol in my opinion. And he's hot.

Further proof Simon Cowell is a twit and the producers had it out for Anthony all along (BTW, it always bugs me to watch videos from this season where Simon says, "I want to be nice, Anthony, because I like you...", when Simon clearly never liked him). This was a great performance and a great choice. This one always makes me smile.

It seems as though they always dressed him up awfully and I think that this guy had the potential to win if he was able to remain on-key for the entire song like he did when he sang "Everytime You Go Away".

He has a nice voice but he never had an amazing performance. This one is just not that good, sorry, but it's true.

I think Anthony's singing was okay, but I didn't care for the band's performance. The instrumentals seemed off; the song itself has a sensuality to it, whereas the band was too upbeat. This song is a love note to your beloved, not a head banging, get up and dance party starter.

Simon was constantly promoting Carrie from the beginning. Anthony was a threat to her... she is still being promoted to the extreme . I see Carrie soo much on TV I am getting sick of seeing her!!
