Both posing the strangers who never fell in love
Knowin’ damn well it’s a shame, so this evening
I just want us back the way we were
We lost it all in the blink of an eye
We stopped sayin’ I love you, spendin’ quality time
Lord help us help us, we’re runnin’ out of seasons, uuh
Get on back to lovin’ baby
How we gonna get us back to love
Uh how we gonna
I want you to want me
I want you to love me
I want us, to fall in love again
Fall in love again
Here we are on the ride of our life
Goin’ our separate directions, holding no end in sight
No idea when we lost sight of the ?
Our love compass ain’t dead, we put no effort in it
And we chose to play it on
Knowin’ everyone sees there’s a hole in our hearts
And Lord help us help us, make it easy
We’re runnin’ out of seasons, hey
How we gonna get us back to love
How we gonna get us back to love
How we gonna get us back to love
Hey baby baby baby
I want you to want me
I want you to love me
I want us, to fall in love again
To fall in love again
To fall in love again
Anthony Hamilton's "Broken Man" is a song about a couple who have lost their way in their relationship. Hamilton paints a picture of two people who have become strangers to each other and who are struggling to find their way back to the love that they once shared. The song is an introspective look at the state of their relationship and the ways in which they can begin to heal and rebuild.
The first verse begins with Hamilton acknowledging that they are in the middle of a storm in their lives, and that they are both strangers who have never fallen in love. He recognizes that they have lost something valuable in their lives and he wants to get it back. The loss happened suddenly, and they stopped saying "I love you" and spending quality time together. Hamilton pleads to God to help them get back to the way they were.
In the second verse, Hamilton mentions that they are on the ride of their lives, and they are headed in different directions. They are lost, and their love compass is not working. They have not put any effort into their relationship, and there is a hole in their hearts. Hamilton implores God to help them make it easy since they are running out of seasons. They need to act now before it is too late.
Overall, "Broken Man" is a powerful song that speaks to the struggle that many couples face when their love is lost. Hamilton showcases his talent by delivering a song that is both emotional and thought-provoking.

Can't believe this is happening
Stand here looking in the mirror
Saying damn to myself
I was flipping through her cell phone pictures
That's when I saw somebody else
Now she told me he was just a friend
But friends don't send pictures like that
I didn't even start an argument
Grabbed my louis bags and packed thinking
(Why) why you wanna do this to me
(We) we were supposed to get married
Did you ever stop to think at all
This will tear a hole in me
Did you ever even care at all
That I'd be questioning
[Chorus:]
(Will I ever love again) will I ever love again
(Will I ever trust again) will I ever trust again
(Will I ever feel again)
The kinda of love that I felt for her
Until then I'll just be a broken man
I wish I didn't really care
I would chalk it all up
But I now I have to cancel the engagement
And tell all my folks
Return the tux, the ring, the keys to everything (everything)
I guess I gotta let her go
And she'll be thinking
(Why) why you wanna do this to me
(We) we were supposed to get married
Did you ever stop to think at all
This will tear hole in me
I know I have to move on
But the question
[Chorus:]
(Will I ever love again) will I ever love again
(Will I ever trust again) say will I ever trust again
(Will I ever feel again)
The kinda of love that I felt for her
Until then I'll just be a broken man

The most "UNDER RATED" artist in this era. His talent surpasses the younger singers in the music industry today. There is aslways as positive and powerful message in every song he sings. Thank you Mr. Hamilton...you are truly "one of a kind".

I love this song .I used to feel like this for years ..but I learned that being broken is a good thing it teaches you to sit back and evaluate yourself and rebuild yourself ant nothing like being broken for the wrong person so you can be hold for the right person ...and I learned that what God's has for me he will give it to me and if it takes to much sweat and tears I don't need it
