And we don't have to leave in the morning, the whole day just you and I,
And it don't have to get any better, it's perfect you in my life.
If you're cool, then I'm cool, then we're cool
We don't have to worry bout no groceries, we can fill up on love alone,
If we ain't got enough for a movie, we can just sit at home
If you're cool, then I'm cool, then we're cool
If you're cool, then I'm cool, then we're cool
[Chorus]
Quit your worrying baby
Quit your worrying girl
Quit your crying lady
We can conquer the world
Pack a lil' love for the evening, let me hold you tight
Don't be worried about my problems believe me- everything's gonna be alright
Watching cartoons, whatever makes you smile
If you're cool, then I'm cool, then we're cool
If you're cool, then I'm cool, then we're cool
[Chorus]
Ain't nobody worried bout no money, and we still gonna have a good time
Like JJ, Thelma, and Willona, we gonna have a good time
We can take a stroll in the park, holding hands walking side by side
Drop the top down on the lac, feel the breeze and take a lil' ride
You know I love the southern stuff baby
Fish and chicken with the hot fries
And we a perfect match, I'm the ham and you the good collard greens on the side
Don't worry girl
Don't worry, no
We're alright
Hold On, Hold On
[Chorus]
The song "Cool" by Anthony Hamilton featuring David Banner is a laid back jam about the simple pleasures in life. The opening lines of the song set the tone for the rest of the lyrics. The lyrics suggest that there is no need to have money to have a good time. The singer is content with being with his significant other for the day and enjoying each other’s company. The lyrics convey a sense of calm and relaxation. The idea of being "cool" is brought up many times throughout the song. The idea is that if the artist's partner is "cool", then they themselves are "cool" too. What is interesting about the lyrics is that they encapsulate the idea of living in the moment and enjoying the simple things that life has to offer.
The lyrics convey a loving relationship where both individuals are there for each other. They are comfortable in each other's presence and find joy in each other's company. There is no need for material possessions or extravagance to strengthen their bond. The theme of the song suggests that life is unpredictable and can be tough, but with love and togetherness, a couple can conquer the world.

I saw a comment that said “the soul in this song is unreal” and honestly there’s nothing else that can describe this song the way those words do.
