After acrimonious fighting with that label and changing music times, the group broke off and has since released multiple independent albums to a devoted following of synthpop fans. They've also incorporated more industrial and techno influences. 1990's 'Peace' was notably followed up by 1993's 'Hope'.
As time went on, their music has received some critical acclaim. Their 2001 album 'Worth, which was recorded in 1991 but released later for legal reasons, is named by Allmusic as "one of the most beautifully dark synth-pop albums ever made." The band garnered attention for releasing a free EP entirely in MP3 format in 2003 as well.
Their official site is www.anythingbox.com, which contains several free song downloads. They also have an active MySpace page at www.myspace.com/anythingbox.

All These Days Undone
Anything Box Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
On the garden walls.
They are like the passers-by
On the nameless street.
All these hours undone.
Sounds of sandals on the curbstones
Echo in my head...
Oh the way the love has dwindled
All these hours undone.
I try to avert your love
You brought me tears my friend.
With poise and empty gestures
They took their toll...
All these hours undone.
All these hours undone.
(laugh...."bam, bam, bam..bam...hey Chris...")
The lyrics of Anything Box’s song “All These Days Undone” carry a sense of melancholy and loss, as the singer reflects on the passing of time and the dwindling of love. The first stanza sets the scene with the image of blackbirds dancing among the roses on a garden wall, acting as a metaphor for the passing of time and the fleeting nature of life. The singer likens them to passers-by on a nameless street, emphasizing the anonymity and insignificance of individual lives amidst the vastness of the world.
The second stanza introduces sounds of sandals on curbstones echoing in the singer’s head, implying that these recollections are haunting and inescapable. The reference to dwindling love suggests that the singer is struggling with a failed relationship, possibly caused by their difficulty in reciprocating the other person’s affections. The final stanza repeats the chorus, as the singer laments the irretrievable hours that have been lost and the toll that the relationship has taken on them.
Overall, the lyrics convey a sense of regret and sorrow, as the singer reflects on the things that they have lost and the way that time seems to slip away without warning.

One of my favorite Anything Box songs. She should should have sung more in the album. This song does not get the credit it deserves. Great job on the video!
