Can we just focus for a moment on how durable GLaDOS's mainframe was in portal 2

That thing rebuilded itself

Survived the almost total collapse of the entire aperture science research center

Survived getting hit by bombs

Was strong enough to not get sucked out into space

And was still able to operate like nothing happened,

Was also able to survive wheatley's stupidity

cracks knuckles ALRIGHT LEITMOTIFS! Portal 2 uses SO many of them I adore it so sincerely, so much!!

–0:00-0:15 wheatley science
–at 0:16-1:39 is when the bass notes from the second part of You Know Her? play in the background as the melody continues
–0:30-1:12 the melody being i believe glados's motif! if you want to know what that sounds like, hit up Music of the Spheres

–1:39-2:20 smidge of an interlude, no discerning leitmotif i can hear off the top of my head

–2:20-2:33 what sounds like wheatley science again
–2:33-3:00 otherwise known as my FAVORITE PART, bc THIS is where you can hear the fight between glados' and wheatley's leitmotifs, all over the the frazzled, harried glitches of the mainframe! (the first couple notes of 🌾ley's theme tries to butt in at 2:36 and 2:39-2:40 and finally breaks through at 2:42. this repeats and it breaks through again at 2:56) but eventually, though:
–3:00-3:14 glados' leitmotif loses, and wheatley's continues (you can hear his best here). throughout the whole fight (2:33-3:14) the slowed bass of the second part of You Know Her? returns in the background

–3:15-3:28 another interlude there
–3:28-3:41 sounds like courtesy call! (you can actually hear the little arpeggios that play when you do long/impressive jumps in the game at 3:36 and 4:10!)
–3:42 a veerryyy slow You know her? makes its return in the background, as 🌾ley's theme plays! i was stuck on it for a while there because the D, Db, A, Bflat had the A replaced with a Cflat 😅. it keeps going as 🌾ley's theme drops out, but at 4:23 it speeds up to the same tempo it had at the beginning. (0:16)
–3:52-4:12 wheatley's motif kicks back up again, completely monopolizing the melody.
–4:37 glados motif comes back, and soon after it does:
–4:51-5:18 wheatley's motif joins in, and they start fighting again, with 🌾ley's motif doing that butting-in thing and breaking through. all the while, the mainframe's glitch plays, and the slow bass from You Know Her? is still playing. it's essentially a repeat of 2:33-3:00
–5:18 You Know Her? speeds up to the tempo it had at the beginning and continues to the end. it never really stopped since 3:42, just kept slowing down/speeding up

SO in total, we've got five leitmotifs (6 if you count the mainframe glitches):
-wheately science
-GLaDOS' leitmotif (music of the spheres)
-wheately's leitmotif (i am not a moron)
-courtesy call
-the base from You Know Her?

anyways portal 2 is a mastery of music and i would hug the OST if it had a physical form

Intro:
Destruction leitmotif (heard during the second part of OMG what have he done)

First part:
Mainframe leitmotif (heard during the second part of You Know Her?)
GLaDOS leitmotif (Music of the Spheres reprise)
Mainframe leitmotif

* Interlude 1 (random glitch noise)

Second part:
GLaDOS leitmotif
Wheatley leitmotif (I'm Not A Moron reprise)

* Interlude 2 (random glitch noise)

Third part:
Wheatley leitmotif
Destruction leitmotif
GLaDOS leitmotif
Mainframe leitmotif

So basically this final boss fight theme features Wheatley and GLaDOS struggling over the control of the facility while the destruction rages on and the menace of the mainframe (which drives any AI plugged into it into insanity and is arguably the real villain of Portal 2 ) blazing over them.

"You know what? I'm going to give a sporting chance, and turn off the Neurotoxin! I'm joking, of course. Goodbye!"
- Wheatley

He was a smug bastard.
If only he wasn't so stupid and corrupt by the Central Core
Makes me wonder what Glados would be like if she wasn't constantly under the influence of the Central Core...
She'd probably be able to imagine everyone dying of neurotoxin much more clearly...

Four part plan is this:

1. No portal surfaces.

2. Start the neurotoxin immediately.

3. Bombproof Shields for me.

Leading directly to number 4:

BOMBS. For throwing at you.

You know, this is such a good plan, I'm going to give you a sporting chance and turn off the neurotoxin! I'm joking, of course. Goodbye.

0:00 you and your enemy about to fist fight after he took out 6 cops full of wounds

0:01 guy looks at you with a very evil smile

0:05 TIME TO FIGHT

0:09 you run over there and kicked his leg

0:16 ur on the ground cuz you kicked it too hard so you fell over while he at that moment pulls out a deagle

0:18 you hide behind wooden boxes really quickly

0:20 you realize you got a hole trough your hand its cuz he shot you in the hand but yet you dont feel pain

0:22 you find a deagle too

0:31 you shooting him while he slowly approaches you while ur missing everyshot

0:38 he jumps on you and bites you in the nose while you punch him in the chin

0:40 both of you get up but his jaw is broken

0:50 he is leaking blood rapidally

0:55 you get shot in the leg twice one in the knee the other in the foot

1:01 yet again punches you in the teeth

1:12 you neck snap him but thats not enough so he charges you and breaks one of your fingers off

1:25 both of you are on the ground

the end

PassThroughGamer

Four Part Plan is this:
1. Set up February 2022 Nintendo Direct
2. Add a trailer of the 2 portal games coming to the switch in that Direct
3. Wait until it’s time for the Nintendo Direct to start

Which leads us to our number 4. Trailers for throwing at you

Edit: If anyone saw Nintendo Direct February 2022, you’ll understand what I mean

Wheatley Core

Hello! welcome to my LAAAAIIIR, according to the light up there, this place will self destruct in 2 minutes, I think its the problem with the light, but if its not I'm actually gonna have to kill you, four part plan is this

1. No portal surfaces

2. Start the neurotoxin immediately!

3. Bomb proof shields for me, leading to

4. Bombs for throwing at you

You know what? this plan is gonna work so well, Im gonna give you a chance by turning off the neurotoxin, JK

They take an assortment of random electronic noises and turn it into an intense boss fight song.
How do they do this.

el arbuz the protogen

So, we just took random sounds, and put them together until it sounded good.
it's not that complicated.

Can we just appreciate that when PotaDOS tries to fry Wheatley’s circuits with a paradox, not only does Wheatley not even recognize it as such, but the walking cubes in the room do self-destruct.

Wheatley’s barely sentient abominations of science are still more capable of critical thinking than he is.

Laser_Red

Your profile picture make me remember something but I don't know what...

I just relise this is @Putuk22 's Comment with an exsplanation as to why they would do it ;-;

F

Yes but What iff GladOS's body was made to resist a Paradox because it was made to hold a human's consciousness.
