Man, I just cannot get over how good the design of those robots to phase out human testing (dunno if they have a fancy Aperture style name) is. The smooth curves and blocky joints still maintaining that Aperture style while likely concealing a much more intricate interior, and that head with the one point of white eye amidst a void of black. It's SO good and creepy, while still being a believable, non spooky design

Zosu

Are these robots a custom design?

JHONNO il cringe incarnato

@Zosu probably that or something that didn't make it to the final game like the cremator from half-life 2

TheDapperPenguin

@Zosu The design is based on concept art of an unused design for the coop bots - the models are custom though

Zosu

@TheDapperPenguin They remind me of lego figures lol. I can see why Valve didn't go with that design. That single white dot for an eye is very spooky though.

Absolutely terrifying... but obviously not paranormal in anyway

PizzaSeeker

I feel like I’ve had a dream very similar to this. Also amazing work as always :)

Confused Cabal

I was genuinely expecting the core to spot them and just tell the androids to get back to work, but it turned out to be a lot spookier than expected. Great work!!

The Engineer

A more desirable outcome than what we saw, to be sure.
"What are you morons doing?! Get back to work!"
whispering Chromebook-brains...
