1) Arabesque was a famous German disco music group formed in 1977, consisting of Sandra Cretu (joined the group in 1979), Jasmin Vetter, and Michaela Rose. After a split in 1984 Jasmin Vetter and Michaela Rose continued as the group "Rouge", while Sandra Cretu started her career in the group Sandra with Michael Cretu.
Arabesque was popular in Japan, selling more than 6 million albums there. They also had success in the USSR. In 1980 the single "Take Me Don't Break Me" became a hit, which only scraped the German Top 40. Their next single, "Marigot Bay", would become their single Top Ten hit a few weeks later. Their last singles "Ecstasy" and "Time to Say Goodbye", turned hits after their split, on various central, south and east European countries, because they sounded very close to the "Italo-disco" sound, a very popular music genre of the European Discotheques at that time. Those songs spread and gained success through LP compilations of dance/pop music and bootleg tapes, so the group never could take advantage of this success neither those songs turn on any kind of charts as "singles". That was a common problem for many '80s European artists. The last Arabesque singles introduced the "Italo-disco" sound to Japan, under the term "eurobeat", previously used in the UK for the Stock Aitken Waterman productions. That soon lead to Japan's Super Eurobeat music style.
On December 16, 2006 Arabesque (featuring Michaela Rose and two new members Sabine Kaemper and Silke Brauner) headlined the second Retro FM festival in Moscow.
2) "One of hip hop’s most talked about artists, Besque continues to intrigue Music’s biggest names. Signing with UK based label Sin Nombre with distro via Universal, “The Frenzy Of Renown” was released with glowing reviews. He was nominated Rap Recording of the Year at the 2007 Juno Awards, hosted by Nelly Furtado. International press in various publications, also landing him in a meet and greet with The Source Magazine staff in New York. Fall of 2007 Arabesque graced his first cover of an international magazine with NOX, the leading and most admired English speaking Mid East publication. A slew of global 12 inch singles with a wide-reach across campus radio charts. As well earning himself sponsorship’s from L-R-G and Scifen Clothing. Arabesque has opened up for artists such as Wu-tang's Raekwon, Little Brother, Zion I, Dilated Peoples and Sean Paul."

3) Arabesque is a Dutch powerhouse trio from the mid nineties.
They produce an interesting music pure mixture of rock, fusion and progressive elements.
But they has two female singers in his second album "The Union" (2002), very different from his debut album, "Beyond the veil", 8 years before. Though could be qualified as prog-metal is easier to listen to than other bands if you're not into that music style. A "lighter" Dream Theater...?
6) Arabesque were a Pittsburgh area progressive rock band that began in 1973. They have one archival CD on Shroom Records containing recordings from 1976-1979.

Hey, big romancer, oho-oho
You are a sailor, a taylor, a jailer
You are from Ghana, Gagnana, Montana
Hey, midnight dancer, oho-oho
Hey, big romancer, oho-oho
So lady killing
So thrilling
Come on, let's do
The midnight dance
The band is playing
And you are saying:
("We should be thinking)
(About some drinking")
Well, mister Handsome
Why don't you get one
("I'm sorry, honey)
(I'm short off money")
We dance the night away
We have no time to play
The band goes Latin
His eyes grow satin:
("Let's do the tango)
(And the fandango")
Oh, Yotegiero
My caballero
("Bring me tequila)
(From Venezuela")
We dance the night away
We have no time to play
Hey, midnight dancer, oho-oho
Hey, big romancer, oho-oho
You are a sailor, a taylor, a jailer
You are from Ghana, Gagnana, Montana
Hey, midnight dancer, oho-oho
Hey, big romancer, oho-oho
So lady killing
So thrilling
I'm willing
Come on, lets do
The midnight dance
"Midnight Dancer" by Arabesque is an upbeat and lively disco song about a man who is a jack-of-all-trades and a master of dance. The song begins by describing the man as a "midnight dancer" and "big romancer," before listing off his various professions and origins, which range from being a sailor to coming from Montana. Despite his diverse background, the man is a smooth talker and a charming lover, as evidenced by the line "So lady killing, so thrilling, I'm willing, come on, let's do the midnight dance."
Throughout the song, the singer and the man dance the night away to the music of the band playing in the background. The man suggests they get some drinks, but he's short on money, so they continue to dance. Later on, the band switches to Latin music, and the man shows off his tango and fandango skills. The woman calls him "Yotegiero" and asks for tequila from Venezuela, enjoying the passion and energy of the dance.
