2009 saw Aranda’s single, “Still in the Dark,” break into the top 30 on the Active Rock chart.
That same year, American Idol winner Kelly Clarkson hand-picked two Aranda songs to cover on her album, All I Ever Wanted — including the high-energy in-your-face song of rebellion, “Whyyawannabringmedown” and, “All I Ever Wanted,” which became the title track for Clarkson’s album. Also, in 2009, Aranda’s “Whyyawannabringmedown” was selected by the WWE as the theme song for the pay-per-view event, The Bash.
Clarkson’s covers reinforced to the band that their music has an audience if given the proper chance. Aranda released a deluxe edition of their 2008 self-titled debut album, which included live tracks and a radio mix of “Whyyawannabringmedown,” along with a DVD of their wall-shaking album release show, Aranda: Live From OKC.
Dameon and Gabe have shared the stage with many of the biggest names in rock performing with hit bands such as Papa Roach, Saving Abel, Stone Temple Pilots, Shinedown, Staind, Sick Puppies, The All American Rejects, Rev Theory, Saliva, Puddle of Mudd, Theory of a Deadman, Halestorm and Black Stone Cherry. With the brothers’ airtight harmonies and passionate onstage performances, Aranda’s live show is unforgettable.
“We want to create high energy, keep rocking, keep everybody entertained. We want to involve the audience and make it fun for them,” Dameon says. “Our hope is that you’ll keep coming back for more.”
Aranda joined Saving Abel in the summer of 2012, on a nationwide tour with special guest Redlight King. The tour included stops in major markets throughout the U.S. In August 2012, Aranda supported Theory of a Deadman on several tour dates, including stops at The Knitting Factory in Boise, ID, Spokane, WA and Reno, NV. Currently they are on the road with Daughtry and 3 Doors Down.
Wind-up Records released Aranda's second studio album, Stop the World, on October 16th, 2012, which was Produced by Grammy-nominated Producer, Johnny K., (Disturbed, Sevendust, Staind, Drowning Pool). Stop the Worldhas already yielded three national radio hits — “Undone," peaking at #26 on the Active Rock chart and “Satisfied,” which peaked at #14 on the Active Rock chart. The latest single “One More Lie” is currently climbing the Active Rock charts.

And I never wanna see you satisfied
If the sun came up tomorrow
And you lived in a perfect place
That just wouldn't be good enough for you
You could have a happy family, money,
And the perfect face
Enough for you
And I no I never wanna see you smile
And I never wanna see you satisfied
On a Sunday morning never moving on
I no I never wanna see you die
But I never wanna see you satisfied
Are you satisfied
Are you satisfied how it came and went
Satisfied when I pay your rent
Will you ever regret all the things you said
Satisfied oh
I crashed and burned a thousand times
Just to be your friend
But you gave me nothing in return
You played on my obsession for ya
Until the bitter end
I can't believe I got what you deserved
What you deserve
I no I never wanna see you smile
And I never wanna see you satisfied
Are you satisfied
Are you satisfied how it came and went
Satisfied when I pay your rent
Will you ever regret all the things you said
Are you satisfied oh
Are you satisfied in another man's bed
Satisfied you left me all but dead
How dare you ever deny all the things I did
Satisfied ah
Oh
I no I never wanna see you die
But I never wanna see you satisfied...
The song "Satisfied" by Aranda is about the mixed emotions of the person towards someone he loved deeply, but who has caused him so much pain and heartache. The lyrics are filled with anger and bitterness, but at the same time, there is a sense of longing and regret. The opening line, "I no I never wanna see you smile, and I never wanna see you satisfied," sets the tone for the entire song. It's as if the singer wants the person he's addressing to suffer the same way he did.
The singer then goes on to describe how nothing is ever good enough for the person he's addressing. Even if everything in their life were perfect, it still wouldn't be good enough. This leads to the realization that the singer never wants to see this person satisfied because they always crave more and are never content. It's this pursuit of satisfaction that seems to be the root of the problems between them.
The chorus then repeats the theme of never wanting to see the person smile or satisfied. There's anger at how the person played with the singer's obsession and didn't give anything in return. Finally, the singer acknowledges that he wishes neither death nor satisfaction upon the person, but the hurt and bitterness still linger.

The first time I heard this song was on the radio when I woke up at 9 in the morning. At the same time as the alarm went on this song started playing, and I woke up and sat straight up listening so hard to every word. I was caught immediately! It's so rare for me that a song and a band catches me this quick. It's a really awesome song, and I'm glad that the radio played it :D

This song really touches my heart. I also heard it the first time when I was driving and I had to find out right away who sang it. It's so crazy when you hear something that sends you to that place in your mind and heart. Not trying to be a sappy but it's great to hear someone go through the exact same thing as you. As crushing as it may be. AWESOME song, Def my new favorite song!

Just heard this song on Spotify. One of the best rock songs of the modern era in my opinion. It has the right amount of power and his vocals are so intense. Really loved it, i just wish they would say cry instead of die, i think it would make more sense but that is just my opinion. I hope they get famous and get the attention they deserve.

This song is ridiculously good. Definitely not my normal go-to genre, but I can't get enough of it. Real talent. If only the rest of the album was this good...
