Imagining what it means.
Come back & bring darkness on our thoughts once again.
Alarming over what's happened
Imagining what it means.
Come back & bring darkness on our thoughts once again.
The lyrics of Arenna's song Eclipse portray a deep sense of worry and apprehension about an incident that has happened. The singer is alarmed and imagining what it could possibly mean. It could be indicating a negative consequence in the future. The repetition of the line "Come back & bring darkness on our thoughts once again" suggests that there might have been a previous episode or an event that brought darkness into the singer's life once before. The dark thoughts are looming once again, and it's causing discomfort and anxiety.
The use of the word "eclipse" sets the tone for the song as it symbolizes the blocking of light. The eclipse of the sun or the moon is an astronomical event that is known for being eerie and evocative, and here it's used to depict the mental state of the singer. In this situation, the singer is feeling a sense of anxiety and darkness, which might be related to a tragedy, failed relationship or personal loss. The use of the repeated verses emphasizes the significance of the emotions that are being felt.
Lastly, the repetition of the final line can also be interpreted as a plea for the darkness to come back and alleviate the anxiety that is rising. The chaos and unpredictability of life can be overbearing, and sometimes darkness offers a sense of comfort.

I listen to this song and I feel that I have arrived, that I have come home. The song touches me at a point of such honesty that it is beyond ego and yearning and striving. When I listen to this song, it produces from within my soul the deepest and most pure, the most subtle and profound "yes" to life.

The word "epic" has been severely over used in the internet age, but this song is truly epic. Crank this and forget your troubles for about 11 minutes.

Late to the party here.. but better late than never. Can't describe how much I fricken love this track - and it's generous, veeery generous at 11+ minutes long. Somehow, Arenna has tapped into the same magical spring that fed Deep Purple back in the day. Pure water, with a little something extra going on.
I'm not comfortable with the stoner rock tag here - there's a lot more to this. Brilliant work here Arenna!
