I am trying to escape from my past rather than confront it.

I must slow down my pace in order to avoid disaster and negative consequences.

Thinking the faster that I go
I thought that speed was the key to success.

The faster that I will reach my goal
I believed that moving faster would help me achieve my goals more quickly and efficiently.

The race is not given to the swift
Success is not determined solely by speed or agility.

But to the one who endure'th.
Success is achieved through perseverance and determination.

I thought that all of my obstacles were behind me.
I assumed that I had overcome all obstacles in my path.

Walking around like I'm made out of diamond.
I was overconfident in my abilities and assumed that nothing could stop me.

I tripped and fell and it reminded me to move over and let the angels guide me.
A setback caused me to recognize that I need to let go of control and allow for guidance from a higher power or support system.

Sometimes you gotta be still, before you can get ahead.
In order to move forward, it is sometimes necessary to pause and reflect, rather than constantly moving forward.

Be still, ask the universe for help be real.
Through stillness and honesty, I may be able to receive guidance and help from the universe.

Success often requires the support and guidance of others.
