Married to Alisa Daniels, July 2002 - they divorced in 2005. He lived with Geneva Jacuzzi for seven years until early 2011.
He has since caught the attention of various media sources, especially in the Los Angeles area. As most of his albums are self-made, many of them have never been heard by fans. The only albums which have been commercially released come from his "Haunted Graffiti" series and are thus the best known.
Pink produces and plays almost all of his own music, and is noted for creating drum sounds using primarily his mouth, and sometimes his armpits. His home recording technique gives his music a very lo-fi sound, to the point where new listeners may mistake the era of his music.
Pink cites R. Stevie Moore--friend, mentor, and "father of home recording"--as one of his major influences. He is sometimes associated with the New Weird America movement, and could also be considered an embodiment of 'The New Sincerity'. Pink boasts a cult following and endorsements from more widely known artists such as fellow Paw Tracks artists Animal Collective.
Aside from his music, Pink also makes semi-abstract and surreal grotesque drawings, which can be purchased from his unofficial website, ARIEL PINK haunted house, for a hefty price.

Young girl says all wrong
No wait, you freak, you look good
Chest out, big struts, she looks good
Let your freak flag fly
Pinup girl
One-eyed Willie
Shotgun Billy
Get shlopped
C-String Sally
What the hell
If that don't please ya
It's just as well
C'mon don your doggie collar
Bet your bottom dollar
C'mon take your bra and panties off
Yeah, juicy Belladonna
Pardon Mrs. Dolly Parton
Condoleezza, turn me on
Bet your bottom, Dolly
Wrapped in dollars all I gots to spend

The lyrics to Ariel Pink's song "Black Ballerina" are a mix of obscure references and random phrases, creating a feeling of confusion and chaos. The song begins with the line "Don't talk, wait lights," which could be interpreted as a command to wait for the right moment before speaking, or as a reference to the anticipation before a show. The next line, "Young girl says all wrong," suggests that the singer is critical of the girl's behavior or words, but the following line contradicts this by saying "No wait, you freak, you look good." The rest of the lyrics continue in this vein, with odd phrases like "C-String Sally" and "juicy Belladonna."
Overall, the song seems to be about celebration of self-expression and unconventional beauty. The line "Let your freak flag fly" encourages people to embrace their quirks and unique features, while the reference to Dolly Parton and Condoleezza Rice suggests that women of different body types and races can be sexy and desirable. The repeated refrain "Elevators, manufacturers, what goes up must come down" could be interpreted as a metaphor for the ups and downs of life, or as a nod to the fact that strip clubs are often located in buildings with elevators.

I just discovered this last night and have been playing it on repeat ever since.. I feel like I've found a strange, paradigm-shifting, undiscovered fruit. New possibilities and pathways are aligning in my mind.. It's just so euphoric and brilliant down to every last detail.
