The group self-produced, engineered, and released their debut album "Am I Invisible" in the summer of 2009. The band toured heavily in support of the EP before releasing their full length "Ailments & Antidotes" with producer Kris Crummett in the summer of 2011. Soon after the release, founding member and vocalist, Evan Redmon departed from the band. The band found a new vocalist in Lucas Worley. Their third release is called "Time In Place" and was released in 2014. Their fourth is called "Passengers" and was released in 2016.

No, that wouldn't make me like them any less... I actually have a post on FB a while back that says something to the effect of, "I don't give a shit if a band is Christian or not, or any other religion or walk of life, for that matter; my only care is that they write and play awesome music!" This was actually in response to one of my friends who bitched about me posting a Christian bands song... To be honest, until I was 19, Christian bands made up a good 3/4's of what I listened to, since the start of Middle School. I just didn't know they were Christian; or that T&N signed non-Christian bands either.

T&N does normally put out christian bands but they have put out bands that have no relation to any religion. Or at least some bands don't express themselves as a christian band. And I hope that wouldn't sway your perception of them even if they were, good music is good music regardless of the bands beliefs. (within reason haha)

+Itadakimassachusetts I can't think of much that sounds really similar, but you could try Tides of Man. This song particularly reminds me a lot of their second album Dreamhouse, instrumentally and vocally (in some parts). I'd highly recommend their first album as well (Empire Theory.) You might also like PMToday, but they're not nearly as similar imo.

For PMToday, I would strongly recommend the songs "Sad World" and "A Convenient Literary Device For Ending Short Stories and Books". As for Tides of Man, anything off of their first two albums. Tides of Man sadly only make instrumental music now, and PMToday isn't a band anymore (but they have a new band/project under a different name).

Nope according to Lucas they aren't a christian band. and why do they have to be I can't stand the "christian music" label it pigeonholes bands into a box. Christian music is an Industrial term and it's super restrictive. As a Chrsitian myself why should it matter, their faith or lack of faith has not baring on thier talent and musicians anyway. These guys clearly put a lot of time into being good musicians.. As a musician myself respect that. Is it cool that there are bands like Silent Planet and Forevemore who are open about their faith yes, but why do we have to label them. Artifex are a sick band listen to the music and enjoy it

Ian Maclay I totally agree, I've been listening to post-hardcore for a long time and the genre has come a very long way in the last few years. It's generally much more musically interesting nowadays in my opinion. I'm very happy with the progression of the sound.

Pubmaster Drax They really aren't. As a matter of fact the sound of bands like this is much different than their post-hardcore predecessors they tend to have smoother tones with more technical funky riffs less screaming smoother wider ranged vocals (When I am saying bands like this I am referring to DGD, A lot like Birds, Closure in Moscow etc.) I don't know if bands like this are prominent enough to slap a genre title onto it yet but they definitely are growing in numbers and distinctiveness.

if you don't understand it, then an explanation would only give you a concept for your mind to process and make it what you can decode it as. meaning not every song can be understood to its intent its given so people make meanings out of it the way they see it. the original intent is only understandable if you know how to understand it. :)
