Fala Sério
Asa De Águia Lyrics

Bem guardado no calor do coração
Quem é que não liberta a ilusão
Mesmo que esse sentimento traga a dor
Preciso acreditar mais em você
O silêncio afastou
Essa vontade de querer
A lembrança de saber
Que existe outra paixão
Fala sério, fala sério
Fala sério, fala sério
Agora fala sério
Quero ver você dizer
Que eu já sou dengo
Agora fala sério
Quero ver mais uma vez
Você me dar chamego
The lyrics of Asa de Águia's song Fala Sério express the universal human experience of carrying a great love in one's heart, even if it means facing the pain of unrequited feelings. The opening lines acknowledge that everyone carries a deep love within themselves, guarded and cherished in the warmth of the heart. The second stanza expresses the singer's desire to believe in the person they love, despite the distance that has grown between them. The person's silence has caused the singer to doubt their feelings, but the memory of their passion still lingers. The chorus repeats the titular phrase, "fala sério," which means "speak seriously," urging the subject of the song to come clean about their true feelings.
The song seems to be addressing a loved one who is holding back or denying their feelings, and the singer is growing frustrated with the lack of honesty. The phrase "fala sério" is repeated throughout the song as a plea for honesty and transparency. The frustration is tempered, though, with a sense of longing and hopefulness, as the singer still holds out hope for a "chamego," which means hugs and kisses, from the person they love. Overall, the song captures the bittersweet experience of loving someone who may not love you back, and the tension between holding onto hope and confronting reality.
