Asa De Águia Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
Me levem além do mar
Pra ver que o filho da lua
E do sol vem da terra-mar
Atlântida tem um segredo
Milênios a se revelar
Netuno encantou o desejo
Vulcão não é mais
Fogo ardido
A selva salgada é de cor
Reflete o passado escondido
Nas juras secretas de amor
Você que só quer
Um xamego na vila
Bailando o teu corpo entre nuvens de mel
Nadar na pocinha
Sacando os peixinhos
Pensando que o sonho não vai acabar
As gaivotas no céu
Os rochedos no mar
Água cristalina
Corpo a corpo a se banhar
Fé, nó
É fé é nó, é fernando de noronha
Fé nó
Cacimba do padre, boldro,
Conceição, ruro e abras
Fé nó
E os deuses bailavam no tubo encantado
Das ondas do mar
Êô êô
The song Noronha by Asa de Águia is a tribute to the beautiful Brazilian island of Fernando de Noronha, which is a popular tourist destination known for its stunning beaches and wildlife. The lyrics evoke a sense of adventure and awe as the singer calls for the gods of nature to take them beyond the sea to witness the beauty of the moon and sun's offspring, which comes from the land-sea. The song then goes on to suggest that the island holds many secrets, including those of the mythical city of Atlantis, which is said to have sunk beneath the waves of the Atlantic. The god Neptune is also mentioned as having enchanted desire, and the resulting life that flourishes in the sea is celebrated.
