O Lobo
Asa De Águia Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
Deixe a noite chegar
Quem tem natureza dos lobos
Tem a alma da Lua
Se você me acha tolo
Porque posso penar
Me ensina a chorar baixinho
Que eu te ensino a namorar
Vou pegar este trem pra outro lugar
Sem saber de onde vem
Ou onde ele vai dar
Quer saber, é melhor sem hora pra chegar
Ou não, um lobo chorando pra lua
Pra lua, pra lua
Da janela do trem
Vejo o filme passar
Conta a história de um lobo
Que queria ficar
Mas na mesma janela
Outro filme virá
E com ele outro tema
Outro tema será
E quem sabe talvez em outro lugar
Ao lembrar de você, lamente essa fuga
Conta a lenda porém, que alguém sempre ouvirá
Ou não, um lobo chorando pra lua
Pra lua, pra lua
The lyrics of Asa de Águia's song O Lobo speak about a person who has the nature of a wolf and the soul of the moon. The song talks about leaving the day behind and allowing the night to come, portraying wolves as creatures that are free and can roam around without any constraints. The singer in the song says that if you think he is foolish for being who he is, then teach him how to cry softly, and he will teach you how to love.
The song then goes on to say, "I am taking this train to somewhere else, without knowing where it is coming from or where it will lead me to. Sometimes it's better to have no timeline to follow, and just let things happen." The singer of the song sees a movie passing by from his train window, which tells the story of a wolf who wanted to stay but could not. The song continues to say that maybe, in another place, the wolf will remember the person and regret leaving. The song ends with the line "A wolf crying to the moon," portraying the image of a lone wolf, howling at the moon.
